The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery and seeks the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
On September 8, 2017, four separate armed robberies took place in the cities of Santa Clara, Campbell, San Jose, and Sunnyvale. In each of the robberies, the two suspects approached the victims as they were at ATM machines. As the victims were conducting transactions, the suspects demanded money. A handgun was seen in at least one of the robberies.
The suspects are described as follows: Suspect #1 is a white or Hispanic male, approximately 25-28 years old, 5’4” to 5’6” tall, thin build, bald, with a goatee and mustache. Suspect #2 is a white female, approximately 25-28 years old, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium build, with long wavy hair.
The male suspect was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black beanie, blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles. The female suspect was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and black shoes. Both suspects were last seen getting into a dark gray newer model Nissan Sentra four-door with a spare tire on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
This case is currently being investigated by the Campbell Police Investigations Division and we are coordinating with the other jurisdictions who are involved in the robberies.
