Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate incidents involving items being stolen from maintenance sheds in the Green Creek and the Mill Spring communities. Items that have been taken included numerous tools, leaf blowers, chain saws, lawn mowers and other lawn maintenance items.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for owners to be vigilant and check their maintenance sheds to ensure no items have been taken. If owners have missing items please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to file a report.
Make a list of serial numbers or apply owner identification marks to equipment and tools. In the event your items are taken this will help in the investigation process of locating any missing items and returning them to their rightful owners.
