Utility Scam Safety and Health Expo and Flu Shot Clinic on September 26th
Utility Smart Meters are coming to Frankfort or in some cases have already been installed. Please keep in mind the following safety tips regarding this utility upgrade.
• All utility workers will have identification with them.
• Utility workers should not ask to come in your home, unless your utility meters are located inside your home.
• Utility workers should not ask you for any money.
• If you are unsure if the utility worker is legitimate, or if they ask you for money for their services, please contact the Frankfort Police Department.

The Frankfort/Mokena TRIAD (senior safety group) is hosting a health expo and flu shot clinic next Tuesday, September 26th. The event will take place at the Founder's Center 140 Oak Street in Frankfort, IL from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Walgreens will be there to conduct health screenings and vaccinations. The Secretary of State will also be there to host a Rules of the Road Class and provide license renewal services.
