Please remember to Lock your homes and vehicles. 

Several residential and vehicle break-ins occurred in the last couple weeks. Many of these recent break-ins occurred while residents were out of town. As a reminder, the Laguna Beach Police Department will keep an eye on your home while you are on vacation. To apply for our basic house check service, please come to the Police Station, 505 Forest Avenue, during regular business hours. Bring the name and contact information for people permitted on your property during the house check period and an emergency contact number for yourself while you are away. Also, alert neighbors you trust about your trip and ask that they keep an eye on your property during that time and lastly, when you leave town, don't leave signs of an empty house. 

If you see anyone that looks suspicious in your neighborhood, call the dispatch center (949-497-0701). You are our number one source for reporting suspicious activity. Thank you for helping us protect your neighborhood
