Criminal Sibling's Farming Careers Cut Short By Sheriff Victor Hill's Elite Units

It is unknown if the McGuoirk brothers had dreams of becoming Georgia farmers when they where children.   Perhaps they dreamed of green acres with tractors so that they could reap a harvest together as a family.  Thanks to a family freind, it is what they decided to grow in Clayton County that caused the McGuoirk brothers to reap what they sowed in jail.

On Thursday, September 07, 2017,  three of Sheriff Victor Hill's elite units responded to Mockingbird Trail in reference to a domestic disturbance call involving a son threatening to shoot and kill his mother.

Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with Ms. Diane Hazelrigs, whom stated her 30 year old son Douglas Hazelrigs was yelling and using profane language towards her while threatening to shoot and kill her.  Ms. Hazelrigs stated Douglas had left the house walking and stated he would be back to shoot her. Ms. Hazelrigs pointed out two houses on the neighboring street of Hummingbird Way of which Douglas is known to hang out at with the McGuoirk brothers.

When Deputies checked the first location on Hummingbird Way for Hazelrigs where Michael McGuoirk stayed, they observed a Marijuana plant approximately 4 feet in height, growing in the back yard in plain view.   Deputies were told that Michael's brother William had given him seeds so that he could grow a plant of his own and that they would find a much larger plant where William lived on the same street.  Michael was taken into custody.

Upon checking the other address on Hummingbird Way, Deputies identified another Marijuana plant approximately 9 feet tall growing in plain view in the back yard of that address.  Contact with the homeowner revealed William McGuoirk was growing the plant, but he was not home.  Deputies checked the property real good and found Douglas Hazelrigs hiding in a shed in the rear of this location on Hummingbird Way and took him into custody.

A warrant was issued for William McGuoirk and he was apprehended the next day at a medical appointment.

The McGuoirk brothers, thanks to their "freind" Douglas Hazelrigs, careers as potential Georgia farmers has now come to an end.   All three are now facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail where the likelihood of them getting approved to work on Sheriff Victor Hill's vegetable farm is not looking good.
