On September 6th, police came into possession of a stolen snow blower. A suspect was identified but the victim was not known at the time. Last week, upon a complete investigation, it was discovered the snow blower had been stolen during a burglary of a shed, in the 200 block of West Madison Street. Also during the investigation, it was discovered that in August, the suspect had burglarized a garage in the 300 block of West Oak Street, and stole a lawnmower. Upon forwarding the report to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office, charges were filed on Friday, September 15th. Cole J. Stevenson, age 31 of Millstadt, was charged with two counts of Burglary, a Class 2 Felony. Bond was set at $75,000. On the same day, Stevenson was taken into custody by Millstadt Officers.
