For the safety of children that need to cross Leechburg Road for school, the school zone time in front of Bon Air was expanded in the mornings. Please note that the school zone time in front of Bon Air School will be from 7:45am to 9:10am starting immediately. If you notice the school zone lights on, this is not a mistake and is a permanent change to the zone area in front of Bon Air Elementary School.

As always, please pay attention when driving through school zones. Always pay attention to bus signals and stops and never look away from the road when you are driving especially in our school zones or when you see children in the area. Just this morning there was a minor bus accident in front of Wendy's on Leechburg Road. Thankfully the children on the bus were not hurt and it was a minor fender bender, but we want to remind everyone to always be careful when driving in and around our school zones and bus areas.
