Recent Disasters & How to Prepare
Good Morning,
In light of the recent hurricanes and the 8.1 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Mexico last week, we want to encourage you and your families to get prepared. September is also National Preparedness Month and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) encourages all Americans to make preparedness a priority. I have compiled some resources below to help you get started.
Build a Kit
You can build your own disaster supply kit or purchase from many places. See examples:

Make a Plan
How often is your entire family all in one place at the same time? The likelihood becomes even less in the chance of a disaster. Odds are your children will be at school, your pet will be at home, and you will be at work. How will you contact one another and get back together? Making a family emergency plan will help you think of these questions and answer them before the disaster strikes.
