Narrative:
On 11-23-16, a 92 year-old woman suffered a medical emergency while shopping at the Ralphs grocery store located at 583 N. Ventu Park Road. As a result of the incident, the elderly
woman was transported by ambulance to Los Robles Hospital.
While the victim was hospitalized over several days, her credit card was fraudulently used at multiple businesses in the Camarillo area, including the Denny’s restaurant located at 1669 E. Daily Road. After reviewing surveillance video from the above mentioned location, the suspect was positively identified by detectives as Cameron Pucik. During the investigation, it was discovered that Pucik was a patient at Los Robles Hospital the same day and time the victim was being treated at the location.
On 08-31-17, Detectives from the East County Sheriff’s Office, located and arrested Pucik at his residence in the city of Ventura. After being arrested, Pucik was transported to the Ventura County Main Jail and booked on multiple counts of identity theft.
