Sheriff Victor Hill's Crime Suppression Unit Inadvertently Interrupts A Drug Buisness While Serving Warrants
Recently Deputies assigned to Sheriff Victor Hill's Crime Suppression Unit received a tip that a man they were looking for that was wanted for domestic violence was at Home Lodge Inn in room 334 on Tara Blvd. When the Deputies knocked on the door a man named Jimmy Logan who they were not looking for answered the door. After checking Logan out, Deputies discovered that he was wanted for Violation of Probation stemming from drug related charges.
Logan obviously had not learned his lesson from his previous arrest. Deputies found 2.01 ounces of marijuana in the toilet which he was trying to flush when he heard them at the door, and 10.272 ounces in a bowel.
A bad tip lead to a bad day for aspiring drug dearler Jimmy Logan who is now facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
