* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to slowly fall to a stage near 38.3 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact...At stages near 36.0 feet...Major lowland flooding will occur. Sabine Sands Road has about one to three feet of water covering the road.
* Impact...At stages near 35.0 feet...Expect several secondary roads in the Merryville area near the river to be closed.
* Impact...At stages near 33.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding will occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest Vernon Parish begin to flood. &&
