We have received inquires from residents regarding whether there are any active fires in Santa Clarita Valley due to the visible smoke in our area.  

As of 2 p.m. Saturday, there are no active fires in Santa Clarita Valley. Smoke from the #LaTuna brush fire is drifting into Santa Clarita Valley. As of 11:49 a.m., the La Tuna Fire in Sun Valley was at over 5,000 acres with 10% containment.
