* from Thursday August 31 until Saturday September 2.
* At 8 PM Wednesday the stage was 23.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 36.5 feet Friday September 1.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Thursday August 31 and continue to rise to near 36.5 feet by Friday September 1.The river will likely fall below flood stage by Saturday September 2.
* At 37.0 feet...Riverside Drive between Jackson and Bemis is closed. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: MADISON
