Early this morning was checkmate for Ferante Dewberry when members of Sheriff Victor Hill's S.W.A.T. team cornered him at a location in Morrow Ga. 

On Sunday, August 20th, 2017, the Morrow Police Department responded to a reported shooting at Oxford Town home's in Morrow, Georgia.  The victim was an 18-year-old that had been shot in the head and pronounced dead on the scene.  It was discovered through an extensive investigation that the victim had met with three subjects in an apparent drug deal, and was shot and killed during the transaction.

The Morrow Police Department under the direction of Chief Calloway worked tirelessly to solved the murder and identify the killers.  Morrow Homicide Detectives were able to identify 3 suspects in the killing who are Rasheen Garrett, Rhaquan Clyde, and Ferante Dewberry as the actual shooter.

On August 24th, 2017, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Morrow.  Rhaquan Clyde was taken into custody by the Morrow Police department during the execution of the warrant.   

On August 26th, 2017, the Morrow Police Department obtained arrest warrants for murder for Rasheen Garrett.   Garrett was located  in Albany, Georgia, by Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Fugitive Squad and he was taken into custody there without incident. 

Further extensive investigation identified the shooter to be Ferante Dewberry and Morrow Homicide Detectives obtained a murder warrant his arrest as well.

Earlier this morning, the elite Clayton County Sheriff's  S.W.A.T. team executed a murder and search warrant at a location in the city of Morrow.  Dewberry was taken into custody without incident.

All 3 suspects are now facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
