Here is the Valencia Public Safety and Crime Information Report for August 7, 2017 to August 20, 2017:

Monday 08/07/17

A mail theft occurred near the 28000 block of Constellation Avenue.  An unknown suspect drilled out the keyed lock to the mailboxes and stole mail from inside. 

A motorcycle was stolen near the 24000 block of Ficus Drive in the city of Newhall.  The motorcycle was recovered later the same day. 
 

Tuesday 08/08/17

A petty theft occurred near the 27000 block of Amberwood Lane.  An unknown suspect stole a package from the front porch of the victim’s home.  


Wednesday 08/09/17

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 25000 block of Avenida Rotella.  An unknown suspect smashed the victim’s car window and stole her purse which was left inside the car and visible to the public. 

Two petty thefts occurred near the 24000 block of Valencia Boulevard.  An unknown suspect stole fog lights off two different Honda Accords in the parking area. 


Thursday 08/10/17

A vehicle theft occurred near the 25000 block of Rancho Adobe.  Stolen was a 2007 Pontiac Vibe 4 door red in color.  

An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 27000 block of Kelly Johnson Parkway.  An unknown male suspect tried to run over two victims in the parking lot of a business. The victim was able to jump out of the way before being struck by the car. 

A bank robbery occurred near the 24000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway.  A male white in his 50’s entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding cash. The male exited the location and was gone prior to the deputies arrival. This is possibly the same suspect who has hit several other banks in the city.  
 

Friday 08/11/17

A battery occurred near the 26000 block of Theater Drive. A known suspect was arrested after he attacked the victim for believing he keyed his car.  The victim sustained injuries which placed the victim in the hospital.  The suspect was arrested and charged with a felony.  

Monday 08/14/17

A domestic dispute occurred near the 28000 block of Connick Place.  The suspect was known to the victim which led to an altercation inside the home. The suspect was able to flee the area before the responding deputies arrived.  

Tuesday 08/15/17

A residential burglary occurred near the 25000 block of Via Cruz. The suspect shattered the rear glass sliding door and ransacked the home.  It is still unclear what was stolen. 

A commercial burglary occurred near the 23000 block of Willey Canyon Road.  An unknown suspect entered a church and stole a few items. 

 Wednesday 08/16/17

A petty theft occurred near the 24000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway. A known suspect walked into the location and stole a few items before walking out without paying for the items. 


Thursday 08/17/17

A burglary occurred near the 24000 block of McBean Parkway.  An unknown suspect stole two speakers from the location. 

Friday 08/18/17

A petty theft occurred near the 24000 block of Town Center Drive.  An unknown suspect stole two bicycles which were attached to the bike rack. 


Saturday 08/19/17

An assault occurred near the 24000 block of Town Center Drive.  The victim and the suspect exchanged in an expletive filled tirade which lead to a confrontation. The suspect slammed the victim’s face against a tile wall causing the victim to chip his tooth. The suspect fled the area prior to the deputies arrival.
