...Observed Flooding Changed from Moderate to Moderate Severity for the following rivers in Louisiana...Texas... ...Forecast Flooding Changed from Moderate to Major Severity for the following rivers in Louisiana...Texas... Bayou Anacoco Near Rosepine Sabine River Near Bon Wier ...Forecast flooding increased from Moderate to Major severity... The Flood Warning continues for the Sabine River Near Bon Wier.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 30.9 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 36.1 feet by early Friday morning then begin falling.

* Impact...At stages near 36.0 feet...Major lowland flooding will occur. Sabine Sands Road has about one to three feet of water covering the road.

* Impact...At stages near 35.0 feet...Expect several secondary roads in the Merryville area near the river to be closed.

* Impact...At stages near 33.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding will occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest Vernon Parish begin to flood.

* Impact...At stages near 32.0 feet...Roads in the Sabine Sands area near Bon Wier become flooded.

* Impact...At stages near 30.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding will occur along the river between Merryville and Bon Wier. A few roads in Southwest Vernon Parish have water over them. &&
