Here is the Castaic/ Val Verde Public Safety & Crime Information Report for the week of August 17, 2017- August 20, 2017:

8-17-17

Theft- 28000 block of Sloan Canyon Road

The victim reported a brass water valve connector stolen from his side yard hose. The item was valued at $10. The crime occurred in the daytime hours. 
 

8-18-17 

Residential Burglary- 29000 block of Saguaro Road

The victim reported two Tag Heuer watches and one Louis Vuitton handbag was stolen from their home. The rear of the house had pry marks to the sliding door. The crime occurred in the evening hours. 
 

8-19-17 

Theft- 27000 block of Firebrand Place. 

The victim reported a delivery package stolen from her porch. The package contained a Galaxy S8 phone and Adidas shoes. The crime occurred in the daytime hours. 

8-20-17 

Commercial Burglary-31000 block of Castaic Road  
The business reported $1,100 worth of Bosch vehicle scanners were stolen from the back office during business hours. 

Remember, in any community, the citizens are the first set of eyes and ears for 1st responders. It is the community who knows what “does” and “doesn’t” look right. It is you, the local citizens, who can tell who “does” and “doesn’t” belong in the area.
