* Until 945 PM EDT
* At 648 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a persistent area of thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches have already fallen in some locations, with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible through 8 pm. This will bring the potential for flash flooding, particularly near poor drainage areas.
* There are reports of street flooding in Southfield.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Warren, Livonia, Troy, Southfield, Taylor, Pontiac, Romulus, Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Sterling Heights, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Wyandotte, Birmingham, Rochester, Westland, Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, Dearborn Heights and Lincoln Park.
