Fatality Accident 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Etowah County teenager lost his life after being struck by a vehicle early this morning, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Colin Lamar Bothwell, 18, of Attalla, died after he was struck by a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder on Duck Springs Road near the intersection of Lawrence Circle, Attalla. The accident occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m., today, August 28, 2017.
Bothwell was standing in the roadway when the vehicle struck him. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. It is unknown at this time why Bothwell was in the roadway.
