The Fremont Police Department is currently conducting a yard to yard search for burglary suspects in the Mission area. Officers responded to an in-progress burglary a short time ago where the caller/resident was hiding in a closet. We arrived on scene quickly and took one suspect into custody. The other suspects fled on foot and began jumping fences. We have two K9s and a large police presence in the general area of Pine St and Paseo Padre near Old Mission Park. The suspects are not believed to be armed and we are not activating a shelter in-place/lock-down at this time.
