Pickwick Dam Bridge Inspection to Restrict Lanes on Aug. 23 
Tennessee Valley Authority crews will be performing required inspections of the Tenn. 128 bridge over Pickwick Dam south of Savannah on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
TVA said the northbound lane crossing the bridge will be closed from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The timing was selected to help minimize the disruption to school and work traffic.
Travel will be restricted to a single lane during the inspection period.
TVA requests that for the safety of drivers and the inspection team, please obey all traffic restrictions, signals and flagger instructions, and maintain a constant, slow speed when allowed to cross the bridge during the inspection period.
