Over the past several weeks, there has been an increase in road work throughout the City of Walnut, especially a major re-surfacing which is currently taking place on Amar Rd.　 With the new school year now in session, the Walnut / Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station is urging drivers to please use caution.　 Also, to the parents who drop off and pick up children at the local schools, please leave a little earlier,　drive a little slower, and watch for　pedestrians in the school zones.
