Chemical Endangerment Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden woman has been arrested in connection to chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Ajaija Cakari Malone, 25, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of a child, which is a felony,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
Malone tested positive for cocaine and admitted to abusing the illegal drug while pregnant.
She was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond for the chemical endangerment warrant. As a condition of her bond, Malone must successfully complete a drug treatment program and will be supervised by Etowah Community Corrections upon release.
