Assault Suspect - Alpine

Do you recognize the man in this sketch? He is wanted on suspicion of attacking a woman in Alpine. Someone out there knows this person.

It happened between 7:15 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. on June 20th along Harbison Canyon Road between Bridle Run and Hunter Pass. The victim says she was out for a walk when someone came up from behind and shoved her into a fence. The woman kicked the suspect and ran away. But the woman says the suspect caught up to her and pushed her again, causing her to fall to the ground. She was able to kick the suspect and get away from him.

A passerby saw the woman, sitting on the curb and covered in blood from her injuries, and called 9-1-1. She was treated at the hospital for numerous injuries, including a broken nose and cuts and bruises to her face, arms and legs.

The suspect is described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old, standing around 5'10" tall with short wavy hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt. He may have also driven away in a small gray colored truck.

Anyone with information on the suspect or his whereabouts is urged to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. You could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
