#004 Stolen Vehicle:
A 2017 grey Honda Civic (CA/7XWE210) was stolen from the 4100 block of Stevenson Blvd. On 8/15/2017, the vehicle was located in the 4300 block of Central Ave. Investigated by CSO Ernst.
#011 Burglary/Vandalism
School staff at American High School reported numerous classrooms were burglarized and vandalized over the weekend. A golf cart was rammed into several doors and vending machines, shattering the glass. Unknown if there was an alarm activation as the security company would not provide officers with the information. Documented by CSO Ernst.
#004 Residential Burglary
Officer Wong was dispatched to the 1300 block of Vernal Ave. Between the hours of 12:00 p.m. on 8/14 and 1:52 a.m. on 8/15 suspect(s) ransacked the home. Loss reported was designer sunglasses and currency. The suspects likely entered through an unlocked door.
#028 & 019 Auto Burglaries
Two auto burglaries were reported in the 35600 block of Cabral Dr. Loss from one vehicle was tools, valued at approximately $900.
#032 Armed Robbery
At 8:15 p.m., officers were sent to a grocery store in the 39400 block of Fremont Blvd. to investigate a report of an armed robbery. When they arrived they learned that a lone suspect entered the store and robbed a cashier at gun point. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his thirties. He had a grey scruffy beard with salt and pepper hair. He was further described as approximately 5’8” tall wearing a yellow and black beanie, a black puffy coat and baggy jeans. The suspect had a handgun in his waistband at the time of the robbery. Officer Bordy is documenting the incident.
