INCIDENT: Major Injury Traffic Accident

LOCATION: Victoria at Pacific, Highland


SUMMARY:
On Monday, August 14th , at 8:56 am, Highland deputies responded to a major injury traffic accident involving three vehicles at Victoria and Pacific. A west bound blue Nissan sedan was hit by a dark gray Honda Passport van that was northbound on Victoria. Both the Nissan and Honda collided and spun out of control, with the Nissan impacting and coming to rest on the gas station marquee on the northwest corner of the location. The van spun into the southbound lanes of Victoria, and hit a brown Honda CRV that was stopped at the light. The driver and passenger in the Nissan suffered major injuries, had to be extricated from the vehicle with the ‘jaws of life”, and were transported to Loma Linda Hospital. The passenger in the Passport suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Loma Linda as well. The driver of the Passport had minor injuries and transported himself to the hospital. The driver and passengers in the CRV were not injured.
