The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flood Advisory for... Rockwall County in north central Texas... Southwestern Hunt County in north central Texas... Northern Kaufman County in north central Texas...
* Until 915 AM CDT.
* At 722 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were producing heavy rainfall across moving east across Rockwall and northern Kaufman County. Excessive runoff from these thunderstorms will cause urban and small stream flooding. Areas that are low lying or usually experience poor drainage are most likely to experience flooding. This means some low water crossings in the region may become impassable. Streets may also flood in urban areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rowlett, Rockwall, Greenville, Terrell, Seagoville, Forney, Kaufman, Royse City, Heath, Fate, Crandall, Combine, Talty, Quinlan, Caddo Mills, Hawk Cove, Mobile City, McLendon-Chisholm, Post Oak Bend City and Oak Ridge. Additional rainfall of one to one and a half inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will make minor flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ROCKWALL
