Night lane closures planned for SR 305 Agate Pass Bridge
10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Aug. 21-24, until 5 a.m. each following day
During those hours, Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will apply water resistant material to the bridge expansion joints. The material, which requires periodic reapplication, helps to keep water out of the expansion joints to reduce the potential of corrosion.
Unlike annual Agate Pass Bridge cleaning that occurs each February, this work can be done at night since the work does not require the use of Under-Bridge-Inspection-Trucks or detailed inspection of the bridge structure.

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – Drivers are advised to expect delays at the State Route 305 Agate Pass Bridge during the following overnight hours.
10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 14-16, until 5 a.m. each following day
- SR 305 Agate Pass Bridge will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic.
