The City of Fremont has issued a permit for the Festival of India & Parade August 12 & 13, 2017. The Festival of India is taking place at the Superior Court of California parking lot, located at 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy, on both days. In addtion, several roads will be closed and impacted during the event. Please expect the follow road closures in Downtown Fremont:

Friday, August 11 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.:
• Lot at 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy (Superior Court of California)
Saturday, August 12 at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.:
• Walnut Ave. – between Paseo Padre Pkwy. & Liberty St.
Parade Closures (SUNDAY ONLY)
Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 6:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
• Paseo Padre Pkwy. - between Mowry Ave. & Stevenson Blvd.
• Walnut Ave. - between Driveway (about 600 ft. east of Paseo Padre Pkwy.) & Liberty St.
• Liberty St. - between Capitol Ave. & Beacon Ave.
• Capitol Ave. - between State St. & Paseo Padre Pkwy.
• Kearny St. - between Stevenson Blvd. & Liberty Ave.
• City of Fremont Development Services parking lot at 39550 Liberty St.
Note: State St., Liberty St. and Beacon Ave. will remain open
