HCSO Robbery Need Publics Help Identifying Two Men In Aggravated Robbery.

(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery investigators need the public’s help in identifying two men who stole items from a north Harris County hardware store and injured three employees while trying to escape.

On Sunday, July 16, 2017, HCSO District 2 patrol deputies were dispatched to JEDS Hardware store in the 5400 block of Aldine Mail Road around 12:45 p.m.

Deputies say that a white male subject 5’3 to 5’4 in height and weighing 220Lbs., wearing a black t-shirt and shorts, came into the store and began loading items into a shopping cart.

When the male came to the front of the store, he ran out towards a waiting Ford Ranger pickup truck.

Three employees of the store tried to stop him in the parking lot, they grabbed the male, who fought and pushed his way past the men trying to detain him.

One employee opened the driver side door of the truck where the second subject was, an older white male, 5’5 to 5’6 in height.

Another employee opened the passenger side door and also tried to stop the driver.

The first male subject in the video is seen swinging a machete, and strikes the 60-year-old employee in the arm and head with the machete.
He then jumps in the bed of the truck, where the driver reverses and knocks down the other two men.

The truck then drives off.

The employee struck by the machete was transported to a local hospital in good condition.

The other two men were treated on scene for minor injuries.
