The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... Northwestern St. Tammany Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southeastern Tangipahoa Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southeastern Washington Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southwestern Pearl River County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 745 AM CDT

* At 452 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated training heavy rain beginning to set up over these areas. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Picayune, Covington, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Sun, Bush, Crossroads, Mcneil and Lacombe. Additional rainfall of 3 to 4 inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. TAMMANY ... TANGIPAHOA ... WASHINGTON
