0717 Hours: Officer Pacheco investigated an auto burglary on the 6200 block of Dairy Street. The loss is miscellaneous tools.

0826 Hours: Officer Slavazza contacted and arrested a 48 year old Newark male for possession of drug paraphernalia on Haley Street at Bettencourt Street. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1538 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 34 year old Newark male for his outstanding warrant on the 6100 block of Rockrose Drive. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.

1547 Hours: Officer Ackerman investigated a burglary at Venture Center Associates, 8450 Central Avenue. The loss is three laptop computers.

1729 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 33 year old Newark male for his outstanding warrant on the 37200 block of Walnut Street. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1929 Hours: Officer Kkairy recovered a Honda Civic that was reported stolen out of Union City on Cotton Avenue. The vehicle was released to the registered owner.

2045 Hours: Officer Norvell responded to a Citizen’s arrest/shoplifting case at the NewPark Mall Macy’s Store. A 18 year old Hayward female was cited and released for petty theft.

0151 Hours: A rolling dispute between two vehicles ended up in the upper lot of the Police Station. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 33 year old Newark male, was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
