Detours Planned for NJDOT Railroad Crossing Work - Plan Accordingly. 
Road closures for NJDOT railroad crossing upgrades to take place in August.
There will be two road closures by NJDOT in order to upgrade railroad crossings in August.
The first will be along New Brooklyn Road near North Grove. New Brooklyn Road will be closed at this location on or about August 7th at 6 am. Vehicles will be detoured along N. Grove Street. Please see the attached detour plan.
The second closure will begin on or about August 14th on Waterford Road near E. Central Avenue. Traffic will be detoured along E. Central Ave. Please see the attached detour plan.
Both detours are expected to last three to five days each. While this is a New Jersey DOT project, we want to make as many residents and motorists as possible aware and urge you to plan ahead, expect delays and find alternate routes where possible.
