Scott Chandler, City Engineer for the City of Jackson, has been notified by the Building Department that the contractor at Bemis Mill will temporarily close two-lanes of A Street from Massachusetts Street to Kentucky Street on Monday, July 31, 2017, NOW UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! There was a delay this morning in the road closure to start at 6 a.m. Sorry for the delay. The road closure is for a contractor to perform demolition of the cooling towers at the old Bemis Mill. Should scheduling change, you will be notified. You will be notified when the road is open to thru traffic.
