7/20 – 11:56 p.m. – Police took a criminal damage to report, on South Lafayette Street. A homeowner heard a loud noise, then discovered a window damaged. He observed a suspicious SUV leaving the area. The responding officer located a vehicle a few blocks away, matching that description. The officer made contact with several juveniles from the vehicle, along with additional juveniles from another vehicle who were following the possible suspects. All individuals denied any involvement in the incident. It was not determined what had caused the damaged window.
