0927 Hours: Officer Wang seized the license plates off of a vehicle located on the 37000 block of Mulberry Street for false registration. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

1036 Hours: Officer Pacheco investigated a burglary at Nguyen Vu Restaurant, 5729 Jarvis Avenue. The loss is approximately $6.00 in cash.

1052 Hours: Officer Rivas contacted and arrested a 50 year old Newark female for possession of drug paraphernalia on the 6300 block of Amador Place. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1310 Hours: Officer Fredstrom responded to Macy’s NewPark Mall for a shoplifter in custody. A 59 year old Modesto female was arrested for petty theft. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1524 Hours: Officer Wang responded to a non-injury vehicle collision at Santa Fe Market, 7356 Thornton Avenue. A 20 year old Newark female was arrested for driving without a license. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1545 Hours: Officer Mapes investigated a burglary at Public Storage, 37444 Cedar Boulevard. The loss is an unknown amount of jewelry.

1956 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 36 year old Newark male for his outstanding warrants on the 6700 block of George Avenue. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

2015 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated an auto burglary at Ray’s Sushi, 3100 Newpark Mall. The loss was a laptop and backpack.

2035 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated an auto burglary at Nijo Castle, 39888 Balentine Drive. There was no reported loss.
