Felon in Possession of Firearm Arrests 
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals were arrested in connection to an illegal possession of a firearm, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
"Jeremy Shea Ledbetter, 43, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, which is a felony,” Deputy Joshua Gaskin said. “Ezekiel Brenis Kuzed, 25, Gadsden, was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, a misdemeanor.”
Two firearms were discovered inside the vehicle that Ledbetter was driving when Deputy Gaskin and Deputy Chris Smith initiated a traffic stop on Oakleigh Drive. Kuzed was a passenger in the vehicle.
Ledbetter also faces outstanding warrants with Southside Police Department.
Ledbetter was detained in the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $15,000 bond for the firearm warrant. Kuzed was booked in and later released on $1,000 bond.
