July 24th

1000 Hours: Officer Taylor contacted and arrested a 24 year old Newark male for tampering with a vehicle, driving without a license and no proof of insurance on Willow Street. The suspect was issued a citation and released at the scene.

1300 Hours: Officer Herbert contacted and arrested a 38 year old Newark male for his outstanding warrants on the 36600 block of Port Anchorwood Place. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1431 Hours: Officer Johnson investigated a vehicle burglary on the 36000 block of Salisbury Drive. The loss is a duffle bag.

1548 Hours: Officer Hogan investigated a vehicle burglary at Newark Buffet, 35201 Newark Boulevard. The loss is a laptop and backpack.

1742 Hours: Officer Herbert responded to a non-injury vehicle collision on Spruce Street at Thornton Avenue.

2344 Hours: Officer Khairy responded to Campus Court in Fremont for “sideshow” activity. A 20 year male was issued a citation for driving without a license. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
