The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Teton County in northwestern Wyoming...

* Until 230 PM MDT

* At 143 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mount Moran,
  which is 14 miles northeast of Alta, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near,
  Moran Bay around 150 PM MDT.
  Colter Bay Village around 200 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Signal
Mountain Lodge, Turpin Meadow Lodge, Jackson Lake Lodge, Hatchet
Resort, Hatchet Campground, Signal Mountain Campground, Flagg Ranch
Village, Leeks Lodge and Turpin Meadow Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
