* At 529 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Some thunderstorms are producing rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the pockets of heaviest rain.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BURLINGTON ... MERCER ... MIDDLESEX ... MONMOUTH ... OCEAN

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be careful during the evening commute.
