On Thursday, June 29, 2017 Diamond Bar Kids Camp was treated to a special morning compliments of the City of Diamond Bar and the Diamond Bar Sheriff’s team. The group of around 75 kids rotated between 5 stations where they were able to learn about the many different things that the Sheriff’s Department handles. Each of the kids were able to see weapons and tools that the deputies use on a daily basis. The kids were allowed to crawl thru the back seat of a Sheriff’s patrol car, see what fingerprint personnel look for on their search for the bad guy, and the kids even had the opportunity to join our Volunteer Patrol members at the Kid print table. All of the kids had a great time at the displays, but the highlight of the morning was our special guest star, Officer Mr. Gruff, who was able to meet our kids and answer their questions about safety.
