...Another round of storms expected Tonight... ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following areas, Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne.

* Through Thursday morning

* Shower and thunderstorm chances will ramp up this evening, with thunderstorms likely overnight into Thursday morning.

* Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are likely within the stronger thunderstorm activity. Heavy rainfall may cause flash flooding issues within low-lying areas, river and stream basins, and in urban areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
