This July, discover the power of play and adventure. For children and adults, play is a vital part of our mental wellbeing, physical health and personal interactions. The National Parks and Recreation Association is encouraging everyone to get their play on. Whether it’s a summer camp, an adult sports league, exploring a trail, Zumba class, meeting friends on the playground, playing cards in the park, or discovering nature — parks and play go hand in hand.
National Parks and Recreation month is a perfect way to get outside and enjoy some time with your family and friends. So get out and play in the Summer sun and enjoy. Remember to stay hydrated and to use sunscreen!
