Motorcyclist arrested at home after trying to evade deputies by speeding over 100 MPH.

SUSPECT: Erik Flores, 22-year-old male, resident of Rialto

SUMMARY: On Friday, July 7, 2017, deputies were patrolling the area of 11th Street and Victoria Avenue, in the City of Highland, when a motorcyclist passed their unit at a high rate of speed. When the deputies tried to conduct a traffic stop on the motorcyclist, he failed to yield. A pursuit ensued where the motorcyclist, Erik Flores, tried to elude deputies by driving over 100 miles per hour on city streets and at one point on a sidewalk.
Sheriff’s Aviation took over the pursuit as Flores fled the area on to the west 210 freeway. Flores continued at speeds over 100 miles per hour until exiting the freeway in the City of Rialto. Flores eventually made it to his residence at 1224 W. Wedgwood, where deputies took him into custody without incident.
