Deputies arrest a woman for assault with a deadly weapon after she stabbed her boyfriend 
DATE/TIME: July 6, 2017, 10:05 p.m.
INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon (PC 245)
LOCATION: Baseline Street and Sterling Ave., Highland
SUSPECT(S): Clorinda Garcia, 30 year old transient, Highland
SUMMARY: On July 6, 2017, deputies found a male victim bleeding profusely from a stab wound walking in the area of Baseline and Sterling. Medical aid was summoned, and the victim was treated by Highland City Fire and AMR Ambulance paramedics, then transported to a nearby hospital. Deputies discovered the victim's girlfriend, Clorinda Garcia, stabbed him with a pair of scissors during an argument. Deputies located Garcia at her transient campsite.
Garcia was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center, and bail was set at $50,000.00.
