Localized heavy rainfall of 2-4 inches possible overnight into tomorrow morning
The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management advises residents that heavy rainfall is possible tonight into tomorrow morning. The main time frame to watch is between midnight and 8 a.m.
The forecast is tricky as anywhere from 1 inch to 4 inches could fall as a low pressure system passes through the region. There is the potential for a localized band of very heavy rain, likely in the area of the I-95 corridor which could drop 2-4 inches within a few hours. This could result in poor drainage and roadway flooding.
We urge motorists to drive safely later tonight and tomorrow morning. Remember, avoid roads that are already flooded.
