Narrative:
In the early morning hours on 06/25/2017, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Second Street in the City of Moorpark reference a stabbing that had just occurred. The wounded victim was given first aid by friends and was transported to Los Robles Hospital with serious wounds to his upper body. During the initial investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect involved in the stabbing as Joseph Miles Green.
On 06/25/2017, detectives from East County and Sheriff’s Major Crimes Units, along with detectives from the Moorpark and Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Units located Green at his residence in the City of Moorpark. Green was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility where he was booked for attempted murder. Green’s bail was set at $510,000 and his arraignment date is scheduled for 06/28/2017 at the Ventura County Superior Court.
