Andre Copeland was ordered as #3 on Sheriff Victor Hill’s top ten most wanted on February 13, 2017 for a shooting incident that occurred at Riverwood Apartments in Jonesboro.  Copeland shot a man multiple times after they argued over an exchange of money.

A witness to the shooting took the gun away from Copeland and stated Copeland pulled out another gun and pointed it at him.  The witness stated that he told Copeland that he did not want to do this because  it was not worth it and Copeland then ran out the back door.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he was stabilized for gun shots to his right buttock, right belly, right index finger, left pinky finger and a shot that went through his right thigh.  

Copeland was apprehended on Fairburn Road SW Atlanta by the Atlanta Police Department today with an additional charge of Giving a False Name and has been transported to the Atlanta City Jail.

Soon, Clayton County Deputies will bring Copeland to Georgia's toughest para-military jail where he will spend quality time facing the wall.
