UPDATE - Bank Robbery Suspect

San Pablo, CA. – On June 22, 2017 at approximately 5:16 P.M., officers responded to a robbery at Money Mart at 14473 San Pablo Avenue. The suspect handed a note to the employee demanding cash claiming to have a weapon.

Officers detained the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Avaun Price, without incident as he exited the business. Price was found to be responsible for bank robberies earlier in the month at Chase Bank and Citibank in San Pablo. Price was booked into Contra Costa County Jail on multiple counts of robbery.
