#002: Residential Burglary
At 12:15 am, Officers responded to a late-reported residential burglary on Falcon Dr. The burglary had occurred on the previous afternoon, at about 4:35 pm. A resident was home at the time and heard noises. The resident went to investigate the noises and saw a male, 16-18 years old, walking down the resident’s driveway. This male got into a gold-colored Toyota Camry, driven away by a second individual.
The investigation determined entry was made via an unlocked rear slider; and the loss was jewelry. The male was described as a 16-18 year old, 5 feet 5 inches, medium length hair, wearing a white short-sleeve t-shirt and beige shorts. No description was provided for the driver.

At 12:51 pm, Officers responded to Niles Bl. and F St. regarding two people fighting. The subsequent investigation revealed one of the people fighting was armed with a pipe and struck the victim. The victim sustained an arm fracture. The suspect with the pipe fled the area prior to the officers' arrival. The involved parties knew each other; this was not a random attack. The primary officer will be following up on investigative leads.
#022: Shooting into a vehicle:
At about 1 pm, officers responded to a residence on Cassio Cir. regarding a bullet hole found in a car. The incident actually took place the previous day between 10:00pm and 10:30 pm. The victim had heard 4-5 loud “pop,” and thought the sounds were fireworks. The following morning she realized there was damage to her car. An officer located a bullet inside the victim’s car, which was collected as evidence. The primary officer checked the area for additional evidence and any witnesses.
#029: Battery arrest
At 2:46 hours, a security guard for a shopping center at Fremont Bl and Washington Bl reported 2 males who were asked to leave for being drunk, but the males refused to leave and were aggressive towards him. The security guard tried to videotape the males; at this point one of the males battered the security guard. Officers arrived and a 52 year old male was arrested for battery.
